JODIE O’CONNOR, Director

Jodie founded LPGA-USGA Girls golf of Erie, a division of our National LPGA Girls Golf program.

Currently she is a US Kids Certified coach, and certified with Coaches Alliance program and currently an LPGA Teaching professional.

She is a volunteer in the NICU at UPMC Hamot Hospital.  She previously has volunteered with the mens US Open at Oakmont CC, US Women's Mid Am, Erie Philharmonic, and the Humaine Society.  
As the program director, it is important to know that she has all clearances to work with children. 

 

 

KAREN BEARDSLEY Co-Site Director

Karen's coaching experience includes girls basketball, but she wishes there was a program like Girls Golf back then when her daughter was younger! Karen  has been part of a 50-year-old ladies golf league at Erie Golf Club for several years.

Karen is a public relations manager for UPMC. She has also served as an adjunct faculty member at both Gannon University and Penn State Behrend and as a contributing writer for the Erie Times’ Lake Erie Lifestyle magazine.
