Whats the schedule and how much does it cost?
For the last 7 years the Girls Golf of Erie Program has changed and evolved and GROWN!!. For the 2021 season, no registration fee. Just pay for the lessons, clinics, camps, events your child participates in.
Girls will be welcomed into a FUN, educational and supportive environment where they are challenged as they learn the game of golf! The cost of additional opportunities vary.
Camp days $25-$45 per day. (depending on the camp and commitment)
Group lessons $35 per hour and 15minutes
Learn to golf program 4 weeks - 8 hours of lessons $150
Q. What are some of the events you do?
A. Golf tournaments, golf leagues, fitness hikes, camps, clinics, small group instruction, Yoga & Bingo nights, movie nights, and the girls golf jr. league.
Q. What age can my daughter start girls golf?
A. We have started excepting girls at the age of 5 years old. Some social activities may require a parent to attend, but there will be golf clinics and special small group activities for our 5-6 year-old division.
Q. Do I need to stay at Girls Golf or can I drop off my child and return to pick up?
A. Feel free to watch from the sides of our area or leave and come back.
Q. Does my daughter need her own clubs?
A. NO. I have many junior clubs available to borrow when attending. Especially if in between sizes.
Q. Does my daughter need golf shoes?
A. Running shoes are fine. No flip flops or sandles.
Q. Does my daughter need previous golf experience?
A. No
Q.What if we register for a program and then can't attend?
A. If you register from a program, the spot is being held for your child. If the event has a fee to attend and you can't attend after registration, there are no refunds, (it will be considered a donation to the program). For planning purposes, please be sure if your child is registered, they attend.
Q. Are we required to do fundraising?
A. No. However, all fundraising we do supports our program!
Q. Does every event cost extra?
A. No. We will have several golf and social events for all girls and for all divisions that will not be extra. Some events will have an additional cost.
Q.How often does the group meet?
A. LPGA-USGA Girls Golf had over 40 events each season. We also have clinics, tournaments, PGA Jr. League, and a Junior golf tour. Families can participate in as little or as much as they would like in Girls Golf.
